Hot Hatha : 37° : 75 min

Practiced in Infrared heat at 37° postures are taught in a sequence with breath awareness to facilitate a complete workout from the inside-out by targeting all the major systems of the body – Receiving a deeper cleanse and weight loss! The heat will provide impetus to build cardiovascular strength, physical and mental strength.

 

Warm Hatha : 30° : 75 min

This class is practiced in lower heat – still warming your muscles, stretching the muscle fibres, ligaments and tendons, but without the cardiovascular work. The emphasis is more on the inner body – fusing the sequence with some yin postures to target the deeper connective tissues that help to lubricate our joints and improve circulation.

 

Yin/Restorative : room temp : 75 min

We fuse, yin and restorative yoga – starting with restorative, slow movements, allowing you to connect with deep muscles in the body – often responsible for physical tension and emotional blockages.

Following with yin – a practice designed to develop softness, stillness, steadiness – holding poses for extended period of time (2-5 minutes) We use the force of the body weight and gravity to move deeper beyond the superficial layers of the muscles and target the deeper connective tissues that both support the structure of our bodies as well as give us lubrication and ease of movement.

Meditation/Pranayama : 45 min

We offer you guided meditation, as taught by Paramhansa Yogananda – starting with energising exercises to prepare your body for stillness, and pranayama to prepare the mind for concentration. You will learn how to activate and achieve inner focus and tap into inner peace and calmness – allowing stress, tension, anxiety and mind chatter to melt away.
